We are a niche reality, born and raised with the ambition of combining authentic quality and affordable prices, without ever giving in to compromises. Each of our bottles is the fruit of artisanal work, made of carefully observed seasons, thoughtful choices and a passion that knows no shortcuts.
Siquelia is not just a company, it is a project dedicated to the creation of elegant wines deeply rooted in Sicilian wine culture.
Born from the desire to propose a cultured and contemporary vision of viticulture, Siquelia stands out for its artisanal approach, respectful of the times of nature and the character of the grapes.
We operate as a selection and enhancement company: we carefully choose vineyards, varieties and partners to collaborate with, maintaining quality control over every phase of the production process - from harvest to vinification, from refinement to bottling. The result is a collection of wines with an identity, designed for a demanding public, capable of grasping their complexity and stylistic coherence.
Our labels
The “Elementi” line includes seven monovarietals – red and white – in purity, a clear and coherent expression of vines grown in the hills of Alto Belice. Technically precise wines, without superstructures, but rich in personality and capable of adapting to different gastronomic contexts, from the simplest to the most ambitious.
The “Triantátria” line, on the other hand, is born from an idea of balance and territorial narration. Our blends, white and red, represent the meeting between oenological vision and sensorial interpretation, to offer a more layered and refined experience.
Completing the selection is Qamàriq, our long Charmat method brut sparkling wine, obtained from native white grape varieties. A wine known for its easy drinking, elegant, fresh and dry, it is designed both for aperitif and for pairing at the table, thanks to a fine perlage and a citrus and floral aromatic profile.
We produce in limited quantities. Each label is born with the ambition to leave a mark: a wine that tells, without showing off; that excites, without exaggerating. We believe in transparency, in rigor and in a beauty that does not need special effects to be recognizable.
The Founder
Behind every Siquelia bottle there is a vision. Behind that vision, there is Marzia Lo Vecchio. A precise identity, a clear intention, a promise. Siquelia was born from her, from her sensitivity, from her creative restlessness, from her ability to transform intuition into enterprise.
Marzia is not the daughter of a dynasty of winemakers, nor has she inherited a company to carry on out of duty. She chose the wine!
He chose it as a language, as a tool of expression, as a vehicle to tell a less predictable Sicily, made of details and depth, of delicate contrasts, of silences that speak.
Born in Palermo in 1977, she built Siquelia from scratch, with the discretion of someone who doesn't like to appear, but wants to make an impact. Her approach is both analytical and poetic: it brings together the business plan and the sense of smell, the logistical choices and the sensation of a vintage, the numbers and emotions. Each label is the result of a careful look and a long reflection. Nothing is left to chance. Each element - from the selection of grapes to the color palette of the label - tells a story of a cultured, contemporary, never redundant wine aesthetic.
Marzia does not produce for everyone. She produces for those who understand wine or for those who love to enjoy its aromas, its tastes.
